Marshall Falcon - Producer / Engineer

Chainsaw_2__150x150_.jpg Marshall Falcon is head engineer and in-house music producer at Roadrunner Studios.  Marshall has enjoyed an illustrious career in music.  As a musician in various bands (currently Eugene rock band The Big Small), Marshall has logged over 2,000 live shows and hundreds of thousands of road miles, including performances and tours with many notable acts including Linkin Park, Kid Rock, Long Beach Rehab, Blink 182, KRS-1, Slash, Cypress Hill, Rehab, Ice-T, Phunk Junkeez, Blue October and countless others.  As a record producer and owner of music label Broken Note Records, Marshall has produced and released 50-plus albums and compilations featuring some of music's most diverse artists including; At The Drive In (Capital), Bowling For Soup (Jive), Bloodhound Gang (Universal), Slightly Stoopid (Skunk Records), Fenix TX (Universal), 30footFALL (Nitro), AVITIA (Aboveground Records) and many more.  Most importantly, as a music engineer, Marshall has worked and recorded in studios across the nation.  Notable recording work includes projects with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Gogol Bordello, Pixies), Dan Workman (ZZ Top, Clay Walker, Beyonce'), Matt Reynolds (As I Lay Dying), Bryan Jones (Kelly Clarkson) and many many others.     

Johnny Kraft - Audio Engineer / Drum Instructor

Johnny_K__150x145_.jpg Johnny Kraft is an audio engineer and drum instructor here at Roadrunner Studios.  He has been involved in various aspects of music for more than half of his life.  His background is in music industry and performance, having completed coursework at various schools including Oregon State University.  He is also an active performing drummer for Eugene-based rock band Bad Luck Blackouts.  His work ethic is solid and his philosophy for recording employs comfort and professionalism.  He does everything he can to help musicians find their creative peaks during their sessions.   

Alex Koleber - Drum Instructor / Session Drummer

     arex__150x134_.jpg Alex Koleber is our resident Sasquatch, drum instructor and is available as a session drummer for studio work.  He is the drummer for Eugene rock outfit The Big Small and is currently working on a renewable energy engineering degree.  His passion for the art of drumming and helping aspiring drummers is both boundless and solid.  His lessons are thorough and emphasize the foundations of percussion.  His studio work is efficient and encompasses a wide variety of musical styles. 

Adam Tamarkin - Graphic Designer / Session Bass Player

    2109.jpg Adam Tamarkin is an experienced graphic designer with over 15 years in the biz. He was raised in New York City and began taking art and design classes in high school. Even before receiving his BFA degree in Graphic Design from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, he began his career with an internship at Rolling Stone magazine. Since then, Adam has worked, both in-house and freelance, for record labels, advertising agencies, newspapers, publishing companies, law firms, and of course, musicians and bands. Adam is a musician and a songwriter as well, and has designed countless logos, posters, CD jackets and press kits for venues and bands. He is also a talented artist and illustrator. Adam has keen eye for composition and detail, along with a comprehensive understanding of the artist’s audience. He is an efficient designer who works alongside the artist to draw out their vision and bring it to life.

Ricky Rodosta - Amplifier / Guitar Technician

      ricky_2__150x138_.jpg Ricky Rodosta is our resident amplifier guru and guitar whisperer.  Need tubes replaced?  A guitar set up? A custom amp built?  He is a master technician with 22 years of experience and can handle all of those projects and more with accurate precision.  From slight electronic mods to full scale undertakings, he is a trusted professional who stands by his work.  Ricky is also a session guitarist who has worked on many recordings featuring various styles and genres of music.
